Secure Digital Extender Card

The Accurite SD ExtenderCard provides engineering, manufacturing and quality control personnel with a convenient means of gaining access to host system SD slot bus signals during product development, debugging and production of Secure Digital card products. At the same time, use of the SD ExtenderCard reduces wear on the system SD slot from multiple card insertions and removals.

SD ExtenderCard Features

• Four layer PCB with extensive grounding
  • Minimizes noise
  • Maximizes signal integrity
• Extended length gives adequate clearance for most SD Card sockets with ejector buttons
• Clearly labeled mnemonic test points are provided for each of the 8 bus pins
• Isolation DIP Switch breaks the connection of key signals between the host and the SD Card under test to aid in problem isolation
• LED and jumpers indicates the level of system power supplied to the ExtenderCard
• SD connector includes built-in ground contact for expansion modules, such as Bluetooth
• Card Detect Slide Switch (Model 2000) simulates removal and reinsertion of a SD Card (ie, hotswapping), while prolonging the life of the host system's SD Card slot
• Mounting plate (Model 2000) allows securing of a host PDA test unit
