Analog Alignment Diskette

Precision Testing and Alignment

The Accurite Analog Alignment Diskette (AAD™) provides the precision technology needed to perform traditional floppy drive alignment. Designed to be used with a tester like the Drive Probe® Advanced Edition, or with an exerciser (which can be a hardware device or a software program like Drive Probe) and an oscilloscope, each AAD contains precisely recorded analog test patterns. Alignment measurements and adjustments to the drive mechanism and recording heads are easy and accurate. Data interchange between drives can be achieved with confidence using the AAD which conforms to industry standards throughout the world.

    The AAD is particularly suited for:

  • Diskette Drive or Recording Head manufacturers
  • Engineering research and development
  • System integrators
  • Drive service and repair

Note B - Multiple radial patterns occur on side 0 only. A single radial pattern occurs at the center radial position on side 1.

Note C - Single-sided.

Note D - Model 206-30 is designed for drives with 33' minute azimuth and 206-31 and 206-41 are designed for drives with 0' head azimuth.
